Exceptions: Field size may be smaller.
Pool play Game length will be 50 minutes to soft cap, Hard cap at 60 minutes. Games are to 15.
Semis and finals game length will be 60 min to soft cap. Hard cap at 70 mins. Games are to 15. (if the schedule slips, the time will be made up in the semi-final round)
Mirror Halfs – Yes -but no timeout during the mirror
Timeouts: 2 per game, only one can be used in the soft cap. No timeouts in the hard cap.
Rules – continued:
No
alcohol. (not even in a sock) No Drugs. No Dogs. No exceptions
Food & Facilities: Bagels and fruit will be provided to each
team as well as extras at Frisbee Central. Pizza and soda will be provided mid afternoon.
There will be bathrooms and water on campus.
Field location: Independence HS, San Jose. (For those of you
wishing to use an online map program, the address is 1776 Educational Park Dr,
San Jose, CA 95133 - warning- web map programs will send you to the west
side of campus. The fields are in the NE corner @ Mabury and Jackson.
The packing lot is off of Jackson)
Why we do this: This event raise close to $5K for Peninsula
Bridge Program, Independence High athletics, a Leigh High science club trip
to Death valley trip that I also organize.
There is likely to be kids from Peninsula Bridge, and Independence High, all of whom will be there to watch this wonderful game and some
will be trying to help run the tourney. If you see any of them looking puzzled
on the sidelines... show some spirit and help them understand the game....
